Afghanistan on Wednesday defeated England by eight runs in the Champions Trophy 2025 match at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. This was England's sixth consecutive loss in ODI cricket, their worst losing streak since September 2009 in ODIs. England defeated West Indies by five wickets on November 2, 2024, in the ODI match, their last victory in ODI cricket.
