Engaging with US govt to ensure deportees aren't mistreated: Jaishankar

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar addressed concerns about Indian deportees being sent back from US in handcuffs and chains. "We are...engaging with the US government to ensure that the returning deportees aren't mistreated in any manner during the flight," said Jaishankar in Rajya Sabha. He added that the process of deportation isn't new and not applicable to only one country.
