Engineer grows 2500 sandalwood trees worth crores on barren land

Kavita Mishra has cultivated 2500 trees of sandalwood on a piece of barren land in Raichur, Karnataka. The precious sandalwood, sold at a minimum of Rs10,000 per kg, will bring her crores of rupees in income by 2027. A strong believer in organic farming, the 48-year-old computer engineer also grows fruits and raises cattle and poultry at her farm.
