Engineers 3D print bricks out of simulated moondust

Material engineers working with the European Space Agency (ESA) have 3D printed bricks from simulated lunar dust in a solar furnace. The team built a 20x10x3 cubic cm brick in five hours by focusing sunlight on the lunar material, baking it layer by layer at 1000ºC. The technique could be improvised to build colonies on Moon, said ESA.
