England club 1st UN certified carbon neutral football club

England's League Two club Forest Green Rovers was named the world's first UN certified carbon neutral football club. The club, that has an organic pitch which is cut by a solar-powered robot lawnmower, serves vegan food to players, staff and fans. The club is powered by solar panels installed on the stadium roof and has electric car charging facilities.
