England men's team recorded the highest-ever total in ODI cricket history by scoring 498/4 against Netherlands on Friday. The previous highest ODI total (491/4) was recorded by New Zealand Women against Ireland Women in 2018. The previous highest ODI total (481/6) in men's cricket was registered by England against Australia at Trent Bridge in Nottingham in 2018.
