England's Spence to play whole FIFA WC with protective mask after broken jaw

England defender Djed Spence said he will wear a protective mask throughout FIFA World Cup 2026 after suffering a broken jaw in a collision with Chelsea's Liam Delap in a Premier League match last month. "It's painful...but luckily I play football with my feet and not my jaw," Spence said. England will ⁠open its campaign against Croatia ‌on June 17.
