EPF accounts to get 8.25% interest payout by July 15

The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has begun the process of crediting all of its 34 crore member accounts at an annual interest rate of 8.25%, which will be reflected in their passbook by July 15. The annual interest, estimated at ₹1.44 lakh crore, will be auto-processed and then verified by Field Authorities, Union Labour Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said.
