EPFO halts COVID-19 advance facility with immediate effect

The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has announced that it'll no longer provide COVID-19 advances to its members with immediate effect. Under the advance facility introduced in 2020, members were allowed to withdraw three months basic wages or up to 75% of amount standing to their credit in their provident fund account.
