EPFO to enable transfer of PF into accounts through UPI: Govt

Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) completed testing the facility to enable direct transfer of provident fund into accounts through UPI, Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said. Under the proposed system, a part of EPF balance will remain frozen while the eligible amount can be withdrawn instantly. The government has also increased the EPF auto-settlement limit from ₹1 lakh to ₹5 lakh.
