EPFO to now let employees check PF balance, passbook on WhatsApp

The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has rolled out WhatsApp-based services, allowing subscribers to check their PF balance, access passbook details and view their latest five transactions. Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya launched the initiative on Sunday. The facility will also provide assistance with requirements under the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PMVBRY) scheme.
