Erdogan skips mentioning 'Kashmir' in UN speech for 1st time since 2019

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan skipped mentioning Kashmir issue in his recent speech at UNGA for the first time since the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019. His previous remarks, criticising India's policies in J&K, have been perceived as unwarranted interference by India. This year, he spoke predominantly on the ongoing Israel-Gaza conflict. Notably, Turkey has applied to join BRICS.
