Escaped tiger from Mexican zoo safely captured near US border

A Bengal tiger, which had escaped from a zoo in Reynosa, Mexico, was safely captured after a week on the loose, easing fears of it crossing the US border. Local officials and environmental agencies worked together to catch the tiger using traps set in areas with dense vegetation. The animal will be transferred to a zoo for care.
