Estonia becomes 1st Baltic country to allow same-sex marriage

Estonia's Parliament on Tuesday approved a law to legalise same-sex marriage, making it the first Baltic country to do. The bill received 55 votes in the 101-seat Parliament. "I am proud of my country. We are building a society where everyone's rights are respected and people can love freely," Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas said after the vote.
