Ethereum Foundation to stake 70,000 ETH, begins with 2,016 ETH

The Ethereum Foundation has launched a plan to stake 70,000 ETH to generate yield for its treasury, starting with an initial deposit of 2,016 ETH. This move coincides with co-founder Vitalik Buterin selling over 10,000 ETH in February to fund open-source projects.
