Ethiopia bans adoptions by foreigners over alleged abuse

Ethiopia has banned adoption of children by foreign families amid concerns that the children face abuse. The adoption by foreigners made the children "vulnerable to identity crisis, psychological problems, and violation of rights," the state media said. Ethiopia is one of the biggest source countries for adoptions by US citizens.
