Ethiopia to use Cardano blockchain to track student performance

Ethiopia's Education Minister Getahun Mekuria has confirmed that the government is working on a blockchain-based system to track student performance in schools. The government will work with IOHK, the company behind the Cardano protocol. Up to five million Ethiopian students will receive a Cardano blockchain-based ID and 750,000 teachers will get access to the system, Mekuria added.
