EU body recommends member states to avoid using Huawei, ZTE gears

European Union's (EU) executive body, the European Commission recommended member countries to exclude Huawei and ZTE's gears from their local telecom operators' connectivity infrastructure under new cybersecurity rules. European Commission said if the new cybersecurity rules are approved, the gears could be banned from EU's markets. China said the act would be "detrimental" to EU-China trade.
