EU court backs Italian body against Google in antitrust case

Europe's top court has upheld the Italian watchdog's fine of $106.7 million on Google in 2021 for blocking Enel's JuicePass access to Android Auto platform. The top court considered this act of the Alphabet unit as an abuse of its market power. Earlier, Google, citing security concerns regarding the app, challenged the decision at the Italian Council of State.
