EU declines to take stand on AC amid intense heatwave

The European Union (EU) has refused to take a stand on AC amid intense heatwave, saying it is not for the organisation to micromanage how people cool their homes. The europeans have traditionally used AC much less than other parts of the world, seeing it as environmentally unfriendly. About 20% of European households have AC units installed.
