EU investigating lawmakers over Russia visit during Victory Day

European Parliament lawmaker Fidias Panayiotou said he and other lawmakers are under investigation after visiting Russia during Victory Day. "My trip was not liked at all in the Parliament, and they have started an investigation against us," he said. During the visit, he met Russian parliament head Vyacheslav Volodin and urged EU to prioritise diplomacy over sending weapons to Kyiv.
