EU says Pak has 'regressed' as it rakes in thousands of crores in trade benefits
The European Union has slammed Pakistan for enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings and a crackdown on dissent as it reviewed the country's performance in 2023-25. Noting that Pakistan pocketed roughly ₹8,000 crore in trade benefits, EU said the country's deterioration is concentrated in areas the EU considers non-negotiable for continued market access.
