EU to buy 405 mn doses of CureVac's potential COVID-19 vaccine
The European Union (EU) on Monday entered into an agreement with German biopharmaceutical firm CureVac to procure up to 405 million doses of its potential coronavirus vaccine. This deal takes the total potential vaccines secured by the EU to nearly 2 billion doses. CureVac had earlier claimed its vaccine can remain stable at 5°C for at least three months.
