EU to impose counter tariffs on over $28 bn of US goods from Apr 1

The European Union (EU) will impose counter tariffs on $28.33 billion worth of US goods starting from April 1. The EU remains ready to work with US' administration to find a negotiated solution, a statement by the European Commission read. This comes in response to US' 25% global tariffs on steel and aluminium imports which came into effect on Wednesday.
