Europe's largest tech firm SAP pauses hiring, employee travel to save money for AI

Europe's largest technology company SAP suspended hiring and travel for employees last month in an attempt to save money for AI, according to an internal memo. SAP is reportedly rolling out an AI tool to the entire company which is expected to massively increases the costs. Only AI-related hiring or trips linked to AI development are exempt from the restrictions.
