Europe slams Apple as it blames legislation for not rolling out Siri AI in EU

European Commission spokesperson Thomas Regnier criticised Apple as it blamed European Union's (EU) Digital Markets Act for not rolling out Siri AI in EU. "The decision not to roll out Siri AI in the EU is Apple's only," he added. Regnier further said Apple wanted to be exempted from DMA's obligations rather than meeting "essential EU privacy and security standards".
