European Amazon staff fired after returning from maternity leave
Leyla Badalova, who worked as an Internal Recruiter at Amazon in Czech Republic, was fired after she returned from her maternity leave. In a LinkedIn post, Badalova said, "I'm staying positive and motivated to explore new career avenues." Badalova's firing was reportedly part of Amazon's second round of layoffs, which were announced in March and will affect 9,000 employees globally.
