France is among the worst-hit, experiencing its driest year on record, with fires erupting in Brittany and Bordeaux region. In UK, wildfires broke out in Stourbridge, West Midlands, while temperatures reached 38.1°C in West London. Temperatures in Belgium and Netherlands are expected to hit 37°C.
