European Space Agency shares clip of comet breaking apart in real time
The European Space Agency (ESA) took to Instagram to share a clip of a comet breaking apart in real time. "While observing a completely different target, the Hubble Space Telescope caught something extraordinary: Comet C/2025 K1 (ATLAS) breaking apart…almost in real time," it wrote. "K1 had just passed its closest point to the Sun, known as perihelion," the ESA added.
