European Union postpones proposal to ban Russian oil amid Middle East war

The European Union has postponed its proposal to ban Russian oil from EU amid the Middle East war. The legislation was scheduled to be unveiled on April 15 but has now been removed from their calendar. European Commission Chief Spokesperson Anna-Kaisa Itkonen said there is no new date for the legislation but "we're committed to making this proposal".
