Electric vehicle discounts in India have crossed ₹5 lakh for the first time as companies try to boost sales before the financial year-end, The Hindu reported. Some automakers are also offering additional benefits like extended warranties. This comes as fuel price volatility, concerns over CNG availability and tax advantages for corporate buyers are expected to drive EV demand.
