EV-maker Simple Energy raises ₹250 crore ahead of IPO plans

Electric vehicle startup Simple Energy has secured ₹250 crore through a combination of debt and equity funding. The round was led by the family office of Arokiaswamy Velumani, with the company's founders also investing, while debt accounted for ₹123 crore. The fresh capital comes as Simple Energy gears up for an IPO in the second half of FY28.
