EV startups meet Union Minister Kumaraswamy, seek PM E-DRIVE extension

Union Heavy Industries Minister HD Kumaraswamy met founders of electric vehicle (EV) companies in Bengaluru amid their demand to extend the PM E-DRIVE incentive scheme and revise the PLI Auto scheme. Under the current policy, automakers must have a minimum global group automotive revenue of ₹10,000 crore and fixed assets of ₹3,000 crore, effectively excluding smaller and EV-focused startups.
