Even if it happened in my tenure, then what?: Farooq on exodus of Kashmiri Pandits

During an interview, National Conference chief Farooq Abdullah said the genocide of Kashmiri Pandits in January 1990 did not happen during his tenure as the Chief Minister of J&K. He, however, added, "[Even if] the massacre happened during my tenure, then what?" BJP criticised him over the remarks, saying, "[He is] showing insensitivity towards the tragedy of Kashmiri Hindus."
