Event to unveil Atal Bihari Vajpayee's statue cancelled in Mumbai

An event for unveiling late PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee's statue at a sports complex in Mumbai was cancelled at the last minute. BJP MP Gopal Shetty claimed Congress leader and Maharashtra minister Sunil Kedar denied permission. "The file was pending till 4:45 PM on Friday," Shetty said, adding that BJP chief JP Nadda had to cancel his Mumbai visit too.
