Evergreen's 'Ever Forward' ship stuck near Baltimore for 3 weeks
Evergreen Marine Corporation's 1,096-foot container ship 'Ever Forward' ran aground in the Chesapeake Bay after departing the Port of Baltimore's Seagirt Marine Terminal on March 13 and hasn't moved since, according to Bloomberg. After two failed attempts, Evergreen is planning another attempt as early as Sunday to free the ship. In 2021, Evergreen's 'Ever Given' ship blocked the Suez Canal.
