Every place is one: PM Modi quotes Tamil poet Poongundranar at UNGA

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday quoted Tamil poet Kaniyan Poongundranar at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) and said, "yaadhum oore yaavarum kelir" (every place is one and all citizens are kin). "India has worked to strengthen the tradition of global brotherhood and global welfare, which are also the goals of the UN," PM Modi added.
