Everyone does 'naarebaazi' in democracy: SC as it gives relief to Bhagwant Mann

In what serves as a relief for Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, the Supreme Court said it was not inclined to hear the Chandigarh administration's plea challenging the Punjab and Haryana High Court, which had scrapped a rioting case against him. "Naarebaazi (sloganeering) everyone does it in a democracy," SC said. The case was filed over Mann's protest in 2020.
