EVMs taped to block votes in West Bengal's Falta, scent smeared to find voters: Report

Election Commission has ordered repolling in West Bengal's Falta after finding "severe electoral offences" during voting on April 29. An EC report stated that EVM buttons were allegedly taped to block votes. Suspects reportedly applied perfume and ink on ballot units' buttons to identify people who voted for a particular candidate. It also reported repeated entries by the same individuals.
