Ex-army personnel, 2 others detained in Hyd military arms theft case

Telangana Police detained a retired Army officer and two accomplices over the theft of firearms from a Madras Regiment armoury in Hyderabad, officials said on Friday. Police also recovered four AK-203 assault rifles, six 9mm pistols, an INSAS rifle, and missing ammunition, sources said. The arrests came days after arms and more than 1,900 rounds of ammunition were stolen.
