Ex-Bangladesh Air Force officer who filmed Sheikh Hasina fleeing the country found dead

Ex-Bangladesh Air Force officer KM Tahsif Souri, reportedly linked to a video showing ousted PM Sheikh Hasina fleeing Bangladesh in 2024, was found dead in Turag River on Wednesday. His body was recovered a day after he went missing. Souri's death comes months before Hasina's expected return, as she said in June that she would return to Bangladesh this year.
