Ex-chairman of China's state-owned automaker gets suspended death sentence for bribery
Ex-chairman of Chinese state-owned automaker BAIC Group, Xu Heyi, was sentenced to death with two-year reprieve for bribery and money laundering. The court also ordered confiscation of his personal assets and ordered his illegal gains to be handed over to state. The execution is put on hold for two years, giving the convict a chance to have their sentence reduced.
