Ex-CIA official, who faked being a Navy captain, caught with $40 mn in gold bars

Ex-CIA official David Rush was arrested after being caught with 303 gold bars worth $40 million, $2 million in cash, and multiple luxury watches, reported The New York Times. Rush requested access to gold and foreign currency for "work-related expenses". He is being charged with swindling the government, as a Navy captain and Air Force pilot, and evading background checks.
