Ex-CJI Chandrachud responds as Shiv Sena (UBT)'s Raut blames him for Maha election loss

Ex-CJI DY Chandrachud responded after Shiv Sena (UBT)'s Sanjay Raut blamed him for Maha Vikas Aghadi's loss in Maharashtra Assembly elections. Raut said Chandrachud had removed fear of law from politicians by not deciding on petitions on disqualification of MLAs who defect. "Should any one party...decide what case Supreme Court should hear? Sorry, that choice is for CJI," Chandrachud said.
