Leon Panetta, a former Defence Secretary and CIA director, said Pentagon is taking a "shameful approach" to releasing information about US casualties in Iran war. "There's a deliberate effort here to basically withhold information from the American people," he stated. Notably, Pentagon's public tracker for military casualties, showed death toll falling from 18 to 14 between Wednesday and Thursday.
