Ex-Goa MLA dies shortly after physical altercation with auto driver in K'taka

Former Goa MLA Lavoo Suryaji Mamledar died shortly after being attacked by an auto-rickshaw driver in Karnataka's Belagavi on Saturday. The incident occurred after a collision between Mamledar's car and the auto. The confrontation escalated when the auto driver slapped the former Congress leader. "Shortly after, as Mamledar was climbing stairs...he suddenly collapsed," police said.
