Ex-Indian envoy seeks Trudeau's apology over Nijjar allegations, says 'He acted without proof'

After the US indicted Lawrence Bishnoi over the killing of Khalistani separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, ex-Indian High Commissioner to Canada, Sanjay Verma, criticised ex-PM Justin Trudeau's allegations levelled against him in the case. He said, "Trudeau was ready to announce something for which there was no...evidence." Demanding an apology, he said, "It affected the families of all diplomats."
