Ex-K'taka CM Siddaramaiah announces he won't contest in 2028 polls

Former Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah on Sunday announced that he will not contest in 2028 Assembly elections. "I'm 79 years old. By 2028, I will be 82 years old. My health isn't as robust as it used to be. It's no longer possible to work with...same enthusiasm as before," he stated. Siddaramaiah added that political arena has become “corrupted".
