Ex-merchant navy officer held for trafficking Indians for 'cyber slavery'

An ex-merchant navy officer, identified as Nagesh Kumar, was arrested for allegedly trafficking Indians for "cyber slavery" under the pretext of high-paying jobs. As per police, Nagesh is the international cyber slavery gang's main leader. The gang extorted lakhs of rupees from people for sending them abroad. The people, who were trafficked, were held hostage and forced into cyber fraud.
