Ex-Northern Ireland unionist party leader jailed for 15 yrs for sex abuse

Jeffrey Donaldson, former leader of Northern Ireland's Democratic Unionist Party, was jailed for 15 years on Thursday for sex offences against two women between 1985 and 2008. The 63-year-old was convicted of one count of rape, 13 counts of indecent assault and four counts of gross indecency. Donaldson, who denies the charges, is seeking to appeal his convictions.
